Mossflower padded into the clearing, the morning sun already warm on her shoulders. Yellow dandelions populated the spot, surrounding the pond in the centre of the clearing.
Yarrow often grew among the largest dandelions-the medicine cat pawed through a clump of the bigger ones, and found a good amount of the herb clustered there.
Now with the rancid herb held in her mouth, the she-cat made her way towards the pond. Goldenrod grew either at the foot of oaks, or on the edge of small bodies of water. She discovered some, nearly in the water, and carefully tore them from the ground.
With sweet and sour in her maw, she padded through the sea of dandelions, her paws finding the familiar path back to camp.
